😂Who had "Joro Spiders" on their Bingo card?!

Experts are forecasting the imminent arrival of a gigantic, venomous arachnid in the Tri-State area - and you’ll never believe how they’re getting here.

The black and yellow Joro spiders, which can measure up to a terrifying 8 inches across, first came to the southern United States from East Asia, by way of shipping containers.

The spindly-legged interlopers are known for their ability to use their webs as parachutes, giving them the nickname of “ballooning spider.”

Slowly proliferating along the East Coast for a number of years now, the creepy crawlies are now being observed parachuting onto car roofs and hitching free rides up I-95.

Research reveals: traders profited from early information about a Hamas attack

Extensive research from New York and Columbia universities has revealed that certain parties benefited from early information about the October 7 terrorist attacks. The research revealed that in the weeks preceding the attack there was a significant increase in short selling and put options on shares of Israeli companies both on the New York Stock Exchange and on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

The study emphasized that these transactions did not follow a general trend and were unusually large compared to those that preceded Israel's military operations in the past.

For example, in one case, a short position of 4.43 million shares in Bank Leumi (LUMI.TA) was built between September 14 and October 5, which led to a huge profit of 3.2 billion shekels following the drop in the value of the stock that occurred at the beginning of the war. This pattern raises questions about how the information was obtained and the identity of the traders behind these positions which are probably related to Hamas.

The findings of the study indicate that these traders, who may have been informed ahead of time about the attack, profited enormously from these tragic events.

The authorities in Israel and the US are now examining to what extent the current securities laws can be applied to this situation.

🇵🇸🇿🇦 Hamas representatives at Mandela tributes in South Africa

Senior Hamas officials joined Nelson Mandela's family as tributes to South Africa's president on the 10th anniversary of his death in the capital Pretoria.

Nelson Mandela, who advocated "freedom for the Palestinians", died in 2013 at the age of 95. Leaders from around the world, including the President of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas, were present at his funeral, but Israeli leaders did not attend.

Basem Naim, former Health Minister for Hamas in Gaza, and Khaled Qaddoumi, representative of the Islamist movement in Iran, were present. In the preceding days, they had also taken part in a conference on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict organised by Nelson Mandela's grandson, Mandla Mandela, in Johannesburg.
