NEW: One person is dead after a small single-engine airplane crashed at Clinton National Airport in Little Rock on Sunday afternoon.

Officials with the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport confirmed that the plane was a single-engine Cirrus SR 22 and the pilot was the only person on board.
