Michigan: A driver was caught on camera driving into several parked cars in Shelby Township.

The incident happened Wednesday night at Johnny Black’s Taphouse, located in the area of Schoenner and 22 Mike in Shelby Township.

Former President Barack Obama quietly met with Kenyan President William Ruto on the sidelines of Thursday's White House state dinner with President Joe Biden. 

The meeting, which Ruto confirmed in social media posts, was squeezed into a packed schedule that included a South Lawn ceremony, an Oval Office meeting and a press conference where Biden had to ask for stage directions multiple times.

Obama, whose late father was Kenyan, met with Ruto at Blair House, the ornate guest house across Pennsylvania Avenue from the White House, where foreign dignitaries often stay.

The former president later headed across the street to the White House to attend a private VIP reception in the residence - alongside former President Bill Clinton - but wasn't expected to stay for the official state dinner.

BREAKING: Judge reverses his own block on Florida immigration law

A federal judge in Florida on Thursday reversed his own ruling that temporarily blocked a key part of Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis's immigration plan

U.S. District Judge Roy Altman issued an injunction on Wednesday that blocked a part of the immigration plan that made it a felony to transport illegal immigrants into the state. On Wednesday he clarified that the injunction was statewide, but on Thursday he said he would hold a briefing on the injunction, per The Hill.

Altman instructed both parties in the lawsuit to submit a brief by June 6 on whether the injunction should just apply to plaintiffs, or be a district- or statewide injunction.

“On further reflection,” Altman wrote in an order released Thursday afternoon, according to the Miami Herald. “We now invite further briefing on the proper scope of the injunction.”
