🏴 ❌ 🇺🇸 🇱🇧 ❗️ — Over the past minutes, it was reported that unknown armed militants tried to conduct an armed raid against the United States Embassy in Beirut!
According to reports, it was group of three armed men.
The assailants fired intensively and specifically at the embassy and its surroundings.
Per reports, the Lebanese army and the US Marines deployed at the Embassy managed to kill one of the attackers, and a search is ongoing for the two remaining gunmen who fled the scene.

A covert campaign commissioned by Israel’s Ministry of Diaspora Affairs - a govt body that connects Jews around the world - organized and paid for an influence campaign last year targeting US lawmakers and the American public.
The ministry allocated about $2mn to the operation and hired Stoic, a political marketing firm in Tel Aviv, to carry it out, according to the Israeli officials and documents.
The campaign used hundreds of fake accounts that posed as real Americans on X, Facebook and Instagram to post pro-Israel comments. The accounts focused on US lawmakers, particularly ones who are Black and Democrats.

NEW — George and Amal Clooney’s foundation is under fire for targeting Russian journalists.
Anna Neistat, Director of Legal Affairs at the Clooney Foundation for Justice, hinted at initiating criminal proceedings against Russian journalists abroad.
Co-Chairman for the BRICS Journalists Association, Mira Terada, wrote a letter to George Clooney calling for Neistat’s dismissal.
Meanwhile, the foundation was founded in 2016 to purportedly "advocate for justice through accountability for human rights abuses around the world, and seek justice for victims of unfair trials."
Note: In 2020, a U.S. federal court in Alexandria, Virginia sentenced Terada to 30 months behind bars on charges of money laundering. Terada later headed the Foundation for Battling Injustice (FBR), a non-profit established by late leader of the Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin.
