Here’s what happened. Since I don’t hang out here regularly and didn’t see any obvious updates on whatever changed since the now apparent “big lie” blow up earlier this year, I didn’t know and still don’t know CC’s status. I just realized from the “mama bear” tone to my naive question and follow-up comments from a few people, that something changed. And I was an unwitting idiot. No one clued me in to help me understand and I am not a mind reader.

Her situation as I had always understood it before the error announcement was sensitive and complicated. I knew she was being assisted and protected. In deference to her, I couldn’t figure out how to apologize without making it worse bringing up more sensitive and uncomfortable information, since it’s all public here. So I left to go think, search for answers and pray.
