Not entirely sure, as I’m not an attorney and I don’t play one on TV, however if judge doesn’t recuse himself, motions may be made to immediately reverse any and all of his orders made subsequent to motion to any motion to disqualify/recuse.
In many jurisdictions, such motions to reverse orders must be granted.
