Dearborn Michigan: "President Trump, SEND ICE!"
I verified these claims made during the Dearborn Michigan City Council meeting
Dearborn’s now 55% Arab Muslim population has a huge amount of Visa overstays and illegal entry. These people shouldn’t legally be here
Unauthorized immigrants in Dearborn’s Arab community include:
- Percentage of Dearborn’s foreign-born population: ~35-50% (roughly 16,000 out of 32,000) are likely unauthorized (illegal)
Visa Overstays: ~40-50% of the unauthorized total (~4,400-8,250). Common for temporary visas (e.g., B-1/B-2 tourist, F-1 student) from the Middle East; national overstay rates for Yemeni and Iraqi nationals are ~20-30%, but higher in established communities like Dearborn due to family ties.
Illegal Entry (No Visa): ~45-50% (~5,000-8,250). Includes border crossers or those evading inspection, often from Mexico/Central America, but less common for Arabs (who more often use legal entry points before overstaying).
Fraudulent Status: <5% (~500-800). Includes misrepresentation on applications or fake documents; not well-tracked locally, but DHS flags it in ~1-2% of visa cases from high-risk countries.

An appeal of the order is a near certainty, but it’s not a given that the case can be refiled even though it was dismissed without prejudice. We are well past the SOL.
If any other prosecutor from EDVA would have signed the indictment the case would not be dismissed even with Halligan’s appointment being invalidated.
But because Halligan was the ONLY prosecutor to sign it, which is unusual, and her appointment is unlawful (according to the order), the case is dismissed.
The reason no other prosecutor signed the indictment is because the case shouldn’t have been brought in the first place. The evidence isn’t there and the indictment misstates testimony and is factually flawed.
The case was always doomed.
So why was it brought at all? Why did Trump and Bondi put Halligan up to this if it was doomed from the get go?
I have some thoughts.
I think it was about getting materials unsealed and/or disclosed.
Here’s an initial list of documents we now have thanks to the Comey case:
- A half dozen Comey-Richman emails
- A text message thread between NYT reporter Michael Schmidt and Daniel Richman
- Comey’s alleged handwritten note
- a denoscription of the four Arctic Haze search warrants for Daniel Richman’s devices and iCloud.
- Court order to DOJ to have the search warrants unsealed, so perhaps we will eventually see the actual warrants
The significance of any one of these items may not yet be realized.
It was never about “getting Comey.”
It was about getting materials for other cases.

HAWAII 🌺 The Department of Justice has filed with the Supreme Court to strike down the state’s law that bans public carry.
The move could set precedent for California, Maryland, New Jersey, and New York, which have similar restrictions.
