Good Tuesday morning from First Street, today the Supreme Court will begin their session first with the announcemnt of one or more opinions from argued cases. Thereafter, the Court will convene to hear arguments in two cases today, Abitron Austria GmbH v. Hetronic International, Inc. and Coinbase, Inc. v. Bielski. See you at 10amET.

The first and only opinion this morning comes from Luna Perez v. Sturgis Public Schools. It is a unanimous decision from Justice Gorsuch.

Whiskey and dog toys at the Supreme Court today? Well, yes and no. Today the Supreme Court will hear arguments in a case about a trademark dispute in Jack Daniel's Properties, Inc. v. VIP Products. ICYMI: The Supreme Court will release one or more opinions in argued cases this term on Friday, April 14th. There are still many outstanding cases from the October/November session, including two cases about affirmative action. See you at 10amET.
Another ICYMI: The Biden administration on April 6th filed a last minute petition for writ of certiorari to the Supreme Court for a review in Garland V. Cargill, a case about bump stocks. BREAKING: Justice Alito has issued an administrative stay on the lower court ruling which restricts access to the abortion pill Mifepristone, until Wednesday night. Both parties are instructed to file briefs with the Court before Tuesday at noon.
