The Supreme Court has set September 26th as the long conference day, in which the Supreme Court reviews petitions that have “piled up” over the summer recess. One of the petitions includes an appeal from the eighth circuit regarding Former President Trump and his eligibility to run for president in 2024. The official Supreme Court term for 2023-2024 begins October 2nd.

Happy Long Conference Day! Today the Justices do their “catch up” homework duties, better known as reviewing the pile up of petitions over the last two months during the summer recess. An order list for the results of this conference will be released on October 2nd at 9:30amET, which is also the start of the new term!

Good morning Supreme Court fans, it’s officially back to work day for the Justices and they are starting things at 9:30amET with an early Christmas present, also known as orders from the long conference held last week.

Following the orders, the Justices will begin oral argument in a case called “Pulsifer v. United States”, which deals with federal sentencing of criminal defendants. Arguments for the case kick off at 10amET.

BREAKING: The Supreme Court has denied a case that challenges the constitutionality of Former President Trump’s 2024 campaign following the events of January 6. There are no public dissents.
The Supreme Court will convene at 10amET for arguments in “CFPB v. Com. Fin. Services Assn”, which deals with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

The Supreme Court will be wrapping up oral arguments this week with a case dealing with article three standing. The case is about whether a self appointed “tester” of the ADA act has the legal standing to sue a public place of accommodation that does not include disability accessibility information on their website, even if she has no intention on visiting the place. The case is called “Acheson Hotels, LLC v. Laufer” and arguments for the case begin at 10amET.

Good morning everyone, the Supreme Court will convene this morning to hear a case ( Alexander v. SC Conference of NAACP ), about a South Carolina redistricting map being challenged for racial gerrymandering. Depending on the outcome of the case, there could be significant implications for District One, which is currently being held by Representative Nancy Mace. A decision in the case it’s expected next June.

Good Monday morning everyone, we are coming back this morning with a fresh set of cases to be argued. The Supreme Court will begin its week with orders coming at 9:30amET, followed by oral arguments at 10amET. The case up for discussion today is from Alabama, about the due process, it’s called Culley v. Marshall.

It’s social media day at the Supreme Court, the court will hear two cases about whether public officials have the constitutional right to block their constituents on social media. Do you have the right to see what your representative is tweeting about? The Supreme Court will be taking their stance today in the issue, starting with O’Connor-Ratcliff v. Garnier and ending with Lindke v. Freed.

Happy Wednesday Supreme Court fans, justices will convene today to hear arguments in a case about trademark and free speech. The case is called  
Vidal, Under Sec. Of Comm. v. Elster and justices will consider whether blocking someone from trademarking a phrase “Trump too small”, which is used as criticism against Former President Trump’s hands, is a violation of that persons free speech.

The phrase “Trump too small” surfaced the internet following an exchange in 2016 with Ted Cruz on the debate stage in reference to Trump’s hands.

BREAKING: The Supreme Court has agreed to hear three new cases for oral argument this term, including a bump stock ban in a gun case.
