Revelation 13 is known as the chapter about the Beast whose number is 666. However, the chapter actually describes two beasts. There are several Old Testament passages from which the denoscriptions of these beasts may derive. While people are familiar with the number 666, and that this number is also the name of the Beast (antichrist). The idea of “bearing the name” has a secure Old Testament context, one that largely goes unnoticed in the theorizing about the number of the Beast.

Scranton man charged with pulling gun during ‘No Kings’ rally

The gun-wielding man caught on video menacing participants of a “No Kings” rally in Wilkes-Barre over the weekend has been identified as a Scranton resident who is now jailed on assault and terroristic threat charges.

Police say Michael Paul Kolarik, 52, of 530 Fourth Ave., was found in possession of two legally owned and loaded pistols when he was stopped while driving a red Jeep Wrangler adorned with Donald Trump political flags around Public Square during the rally Saturday morning.
