So I’m familiar with both these ladies Kat from Tvd and other stuff and Logan Browning from movies and other stuff as well. For years I kept mistaking them for each other despite knowing these are 2 different women am I crazy or do they look alike?

Elena's character was ruined by the writers

I liked Elena in the first season. But I hate how her character was developed. She became a very selfish person who always excused Damon (even though he didn't deserve it). I understand that she was attracted to him, but I'd like to see her confront him and call him out brutally honest about his actions. And then I'd like to see her realize that she's over both of the Salvatore brothers. Instead of falling into a deep sleep, I'd like her to move away from Mystic Falls, away from all the drama in order to continue her education and have a human life. Yes, she'll miss her friends, but I'd like her to mature and leave this toxic life behind.

If you were a writer for TVD, what are some plots you would change or create from scratch?

Personally, I hated the heretic/Rayna Cruz storyline in s7 and how they were built up to be these big threats when they weren't, especially right after we had an amazing villain like Kai in s6. That was by far the least engaging plot, in my opinion. That's definitely one that I would remove and create a new plot from scratch for. I actually would've liked to see the show go more in depth about the Veil after it collapsed since we conclude that the original TVDU magic rules would say that magic doesn't vanish completely, it leaves imprints. Magic is made up of energy, and we know that energy can't be created nor destroyed. The Veil would likely be thin in Mystic Falls considering it has been the center for the supernatural for centuries and that many previous villians have already destabilized the Veil in MF before it was "destroyed." In TVDU logic, nature demands balance and expects repayment, death releases magic, and that magic normally disperses. So, every single time someone supernatural dies after the Other Side collapsed, deaths becomes interrupted, and their soul exists between multiple states and goes through a state of repetition, meaning they cannot find peace or be destroyed. Power that was borrowed and never paid back (expression, sacrificical magic, channeling the dead, etc) only accumulates the lingering pressure that the Veil left behind. When the Veil tears under pressure, Unumcaris, the ancient manifestation of abused magic that was containe by the Veil between the Other Side and reality, is freed; not as a person, but as a residual being that seeks to punish humanity and eliminate the supernatural until the balance of nature is restored. Severe lightning storms break out all over the world, rain turns to blood and acid, and powerful winds that carry the voices of "destroyed" souls who never found peace. Deaths begin to snap back to nature, meaning someone who cheated death one or too many times will experience consequences. People start experiencing missing or duplicated time, past injuries that have healed start reappearing, spells that were unfinished complete themselves, locations warp and show events from decades apart.

Okay..

I’ll admit, now that I’m seeing edits and stuff with klaus in them I’ll admit.. he is kinda fine ,or whatever 🙄😂. I know I said before that I didn’t find him attractive but that was because of his immaturity and immaturity turns me off. But now seeing edits of him…yeah ,He’s stirring something. Now ✋🏾he’s no Stefan because Stefan’s the man for me but I’m starting to see what everyone else sees in him (klaus) , he is quite a snack.

Why is stelena deemed a high school romance type of love?.

I only ever see delena fans say this about stelena and it confuses me. Because when it’s used its usually to say that because they were in high school they were in puppy love and lesser than delena…

Klaus Mikaelson’s knowledge is seriously underrated

Every rewatch reminds me that Klaus is lowkey a walking encyclopedia

On my 7th rewatch of TVD and I’m only now fully appreciating how insanely knowledgeable Klaus actually is.

I’m at the episode where Caroline and Tyler are trying to decode the hunter’s sword, but they’re stuck because the text is in Aramaic...and then Klaus casually steps in and just… knows the dead language. No big deal, apparently.

There have been so many moments like this throughout the show where his accumulated knowledge gives him a serious edge. Whether it’s his understanding of ancient magic, disappearing tattoos, or his vast knowledge of art and history, it’s always fun watching other characters get subtly (or not-so-subtly) schooled by him.

I know I’m forgetting a bunch of examples, but it really drives home the fact that this man has lived for a thousand years and actually used that time to learn things.

Would love to hear if you guys remember any other moments where Klaus’ knowledge or experience really stood out!

Did anyone else feel bothered that we didn’t get enough time with dark, gothic ships or duos in a vampire show?

Why was alaric saltzman kept in the show?

In the book ”I was feeling epic” or whatever the name is, it’s stated that no one’s character is really needed in the show so that’s why the actors should be on their best behaviour. I mean the actor Matthew Davis was so problematic so why was there even a need to bring his character back? On top of all, I don’t like him as a person or as a character and the whole bringing alaric back situation never made sense for me. It’s also notable that I’m a first time watcher and am on season 7 now so I might have missed some stuff in the show but reawakening alaric just feels unnecessary

Edit: To specify, I’m asking WHY was he kept in the show, not is alaric loved in the fandom or not

Alaric & Caroline’s Engagement

I hate how Caroline is portrayed to be so cold towards Alaric in season 7 when they had the kids. If she didn’t love him she wouldn’t have accepted his proposal. It would make more sense if she said she loved him but just wasn’t IN love with him. I don’t like how they make it seem like she’s so detached from him and he’s managed to fall in love with her. She’d love him as a friend at the very least.
