Hello Everyone,

As all of you may know, news pages on Instagram have seen unrelenting pressure in recent months. Posts and pages have been throttled, shadow-banned, or shut down. Our community is under attack; and this makes change a necessity. We will continue to grow the online news community that we have all fostered. I have decided to take on a strategic partnership with a few loyal followers to ensure the Atlas brand will thrive in the years to come. With our combined experience, I believe we can create a platform in which all of you get quality news that's fast, unfiltered, and unbiased. Change needed to happen, and I promised I would do it.

For years I have listen to what you all wanted and it’s going to happen: We are making an App and a complete Website.

To begin, starting today I will be collecting emails for an official Atlas Newsletter. This newsletter will recap the week's top stories, as well as give you and update on our progress and what's upcoming. We will be sending this newsletter every week on Sunday at 8:00 EST. The new link in the bio will direct you to our own website to put your email and phone number to be a part of the news letter if you would like to, as well as launch t shirts and donations if you are up to it (which will help fund future projects).

I have reached out to several different news pages that have been apart of this community on Instagram to provide them a place to post their content freely. With that being said, this is not a merger of all of our pages. We will remain unique in how we provide you information in the same way you have grown to love our content. This content will be available on the app and website in the months to come. Both will give you the ability to get your news directly from the source, through push notification, without having to worry about censorship or complete deletion.

We built this community up together, and now we must work together to move forward. You are the reason Atlas has become what it is today, and we ask for your support in growing it that what it will become.

I must be hard of hearing. He is saying “yeah” I thought he was saying “dead” but regardless it was eerie as Travis Scott watched the bodies of fans being removed due to a fatal crush at his Astro World concert. At least 8 dead and hundreds wounded after fans rushed the stage at the concert.

Two issues to be highlighted:
1. Show staff/ Travis Scott did not listen to immediate pleas to end show due to situation by crowd (Show was eventually called off)
2. Reports of unprepared/ inexperienced medical staff at venue that impeded medical care to seriously wounded (not local FD/ PD, but contracted EMT/ Medic companies)

ISCAP claimed responsibility for an ambush on a UN/ Congolese security force convoy that was escorting Christian refugees. 10 killed and unknown number kidnapped.
