Eerie calm in Almaty so far, streets are largely empty
Anyone got any good Weibo accounts that cover military stuff, trying to expand sources in that area.
Leave it to PMU militias to try and attack the US embassy in Baghdad with rockets to end up only hitting a school house.
I’m expecting some significant cyber attacks and weapons depots to mysteriously explode in Ukraine over the next few weeks
There was already a cyber attack against Ukrainian government websites today I’ll be covering it soon
Iraqi militia media sources reporting a possible drone attack against American contractors at the Balad Airbase in Iraq
Smoke from the 11-alarm fire at a chlorine plant in Passaic, NJ, extending nearly 60 miles. Thankfully the wind is taking it to the ocean and not inward where it would cover highly populated areas.
Passaic Mayor reported that 100,000 pounds of chlorine pellets have been “impacted” (so I’m guessing burned or affected by heat), but fire crews have been able to keep the blaze away from the main plant so far
Fire crews appear to have the situation under control having knocked down much of the fire. They kept the blaze away from the main chlorine plant, which would have been very very very bad if they had not done so. Props to the security guard at the site for reporting the fire when he did, the night could have ended a completely different way.
Also no fatalities. One injured firefighter that was hit by debris and is expected to be fine.
New Taliban SF unit just dropped, called “Yarmook60”
Two cyber attacks in a week in Ukraine, now just waiting for shit to start randomly blowing up
Captured Kurdish guards from al-Sina’a prison in Syria following the jailbreak. I don’t know if this was taken when militants briefly took over the complex or were dragged off afterwards. If this was take inside the prison during the jailbreak the guards are likely dead
Purported images of ISIS leader Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi who was killed during a Delta raid in Syria last night. Initial indications that he killed himself with a suicide vest, which also killed several of his family members.
