Not really a surprise, but Russia has vetoed the UN’s draft resolution calling for the immediate and complete withdrawal of Russian forces from Ukraine

By far the largest aircraft to be downed this conflict if confirmed, with the second being a Ukrainian An-26 (above) that was shot down the first day of the invasion

Ukraine is claiming the IL-76 was filled with paratroopers

Ukraine’s Air Force command also saying two Russian Su-25s downed (one by a Ukrainian Su-27 and one by S-300 AA missile) and one unspecified helicopter shot down by S-300

Also just a heads up. A lot of footage from Euromaidan (2013-2014) is being posted claiming to be from now so just be careful of things you see being posted.

One of the Ukrainian soldiers on Snake Island (Bublichek99 on IG) was streaming when the Russian warship started striking it. Stream cut out after this.

Russian media claiming that 82 Ukraine soldiers surrendered on Snake Island and were taken to Sevastopol on the Russian tug “SHAKHTYOR.” AIS tracking for the ship has been turned off so there is now way to check its voyages. Ukraine officials said only 13 servicemen were on the island and all were killed by bombardment. Whatever the case is the island is under Russian control.

As we also saw in the video I posted the Island came under fire before the stream was cut

Latest ISW conflict map. Russian forces pushing north from Kherson and East to Mariupol to hit it from two sides. Donetsk frontline hasn’t been breached, so forces have pushed north through Luhansk. Russian forces have pounded Ukrainian positions to Kharkiv’s north, I am wondering if they will try to encircle the city. Fighting still largely outside of Kyiv city. Forces have pushed past Sumy, although heavy fighting continues there.

There is currently a small Russian convoy/ patrol just driving through Kharkiv taking heavy fire and really not doing anything else. I have no idea what they are trying to do.

Kyiv independent reporting that bridges between Bucha and Kyiv have been destroyed to slow Russian troop movements to the Capital
