In the last year so much of what I “believed” has been turned on it’s head and it’s been a wild ride. It’s been one I’ve taken great pleasure in because so many things have become more clear.
I’ve come to see this need for belief, the need for a done and dusted “fact” appeals to the part of our brain that craves predictability. This is a protective measure, rightly so.
If one wants to learn and seek out all corners of experience, one would need to keep this deep seated need for certainty in check.
Relinquishing the need to “believe” or “trust” outside information is the a freeing experience and finally opens us up to a totally innocent quest.
