So this is an interesting example of a creative way to deal with businesses who are trying to impose masks. Very creative, kinda funny too! Non confrontational, cordial AND problem solved! 👇

I would like to share my experience (success) here. I went with the Karl Lentz approach and went to my local Walgreens. I had an audio recorder recording and walked in mask free. As soon as I grabbed my cart and started moving thru the store the manager in the photo area started motioning for me to put on a mask. I walked over to him and said "hey man, what's up?" He told me I needed to put on a mask. I said "is that your wish, is that your order?" and he said "yes". I said "I would be happy to carry out your wish, your order" and put my mask on. I told him I am all about carrying out my fellow mans orders and continued on to shop. When I was checking out I asked the man at the register if Sebastian (the man who placed the order) was the store manager, I already knew he was but wanted it confirmed for the audio, and he said "yes". I went out to my car and unloaded my purchase and sat in the car to write out my invoice for Sebastian. When done I went back into the store and had Sebastian paged. He came up to me and I said "did I do a good job carrying out your order?" and he said "yes". I handed him my invoice for $50,000.00 and he said "what's this?" I said "this is the invoice for the order I carried out. You said I did a good job." He read the invoice and laughed. I said "we're all set here?" and he said "yes". I left and went home. I cannot confirm that he turned my invoice over to the legal department but I have been back to Walgreens at least a dozen times since that day and no one will say boo to me. Sebastian even calls me by name and has checked me out a few times and will not place another order with me. They all look at me when I enter and then go about their business. Not one word about a mask since that day. Walgreens has become my favorite place to shop. I haven't been to a grocery store since Sept 2020 but am preparing to do the same there and anywhere else I plan to go. I did wear that stupid mask for 30 minutes that day but it solved my problem, in Walgreens anyway!

Hey everyone. Christine here. I’m grateful to be a part of the expansion of TWF team! I look forward to getting to know who is here, and most especially what you most long for, seek for, are asking for or desiring in the context of choosing to be a part of TWF. If you’re inspired, please share in the comments. That’ll really assist me to know what will be the greatest contribution to share.

A little about me, I came from the land of academia, did a BSc in Human Biology and Health and a MEd in Counselling Psychology. I was a varsity athlete in rowing, prior to that a figure skater. After my degrees and the end of my career in competitive athletics when I entered the “real world” I essentially had a breakdown, or a difficult transition to put it mildly. I couldn’t adapt myself to function well in the world presented to me. What came through that time (these last 11 years), has been a profound revival of my heart, my energetic gifts, my healing abilities and a huge capacity to deconstruct identities that were built to stay safe in dysfunctional or fear-based environments. And most importantly it has been a process of becoming able to step dynamically into the field of relationships and call forth what is real, true and alive within each of us.

I desire to welcome and invite the being that we are and the gifts, talents and abilities we each have to come forward and become known, so that we can each be inspired to remember and discover what we are here to be and do. Together we can remind each other of what lives inside of us waiting for the conditions of love, support and care to usher them forward! I look forward to seeing what we can build together!
