Many of us are being invited to revise and evolve the strategies we’ve used to cope, to navigate, to survive or to be successful.
As is being amplified in the world right now, so many strategies that claim to solve problems, fix what’s broken, or correct what’s wrong aren’t working, or are making things worse.
What many of us can see now, is that this is a time when we can no longer rely solely on our minds or intellectual acuity to find answers. A potential limitation of the mind-based strategies is that they can lead us to always be looking for problems, or fixating on what’s broken or incessantly trying to correct what’s wrong. Fortunately we don’t have to live there anymore and life has so much more to show us, offer us and reveal to us.
What do our hearts know? What do our bodies know? What does the earth know? What does the sun know? What wisdom can we now access, or discover or remember that can help us find the way forward?

These are two of the poems I wrote when I was in a visionary type phase in 2011. They came to mind these last few days as I can see them coming to life more and more. Visions can inspire, and yet can also romanticize the process of being a part of a phase of great change, making it seem more flowery and exciting than it actually is. Amplifying the excitement, underestimating the difficulty and speaking from what we would want to be the case rather then the pure awareness of what we see to be the case. Today I send love and offer my appreciation to all the visionaries and the realists out there supporting us to navigate through these tumultuous times. We need each other 😁

Grounding a New Vision
Words, music, movement, continuing the flow of life energy
Standing up and seeing what arises
The moment will bring the material if we tune in and listen
Bringing forth new sound, creative words, heart centered expression
Ready, set, go
Connect, communicate
Starting the new dialogue, continuing to question,
bringing up flaws in the system
Asking for compassion, love and leadership in service of the whole

The solution cannot be found within the problem
Wake up and start over
A much grander version of life is waiting to be revealed to you
Start asking new questions, free of the inner tyrant
State with conviction that you are ready
It is time to be showered with light
Dissipating the darkness that once ruled your mind
You know in your heart that it’s possible
