I’ve been unable to speak on anything related to politics this past year because I was (emphasis on was) a Captain in the US Army.
Here’s my stance: this whole right/left side thing is bullshit and plays into *exactly* what the multinational corporations who’re in bed with our government regulatory agencies want. If you want to put an unnecessary label on my “political” leaning, I’m probably a voluntaryist.
I have never ever been “right leaning.” If you were to go deep into my Twitter posts from 3 years ago, I was clearly left leaning (although, again, having to avoid directly saying anything because of being in the Army). I began to notice the left becoming increasingly restrictive, and in the process of “waking up,” came to realize that no “side” is for the people.

Over this past year I sat back and watched as people resort to tribalism, blindly outsourcing their power to their political “side”- completely falling for the divide and conquer tactics. I was so frustrated that I couldn’t speak. There are no political saviors. We save ourselves. Our power comes from within, and it is inherent to each and every one of us.
The people need to take back their own power, stop outsourcing to authority, and realize these bullshit narratives all over the media and the societal hive mind are there to distract and divide us. It’s multinational corporations and technocrats/plutocrats imposing their will on all of us. Quit playing in that stupid system. Get back to people. Get back to human. Get back to love.

Through the presence of love we develop the capacity to truly see, which makes it possible to release the mechanism of projection. Through the presence of love we develop the capacity to truly hear, sense and feel, which makes it possible to release the mechanism of expectation. Through the presence of love we develop the capacity to truly know ourselves, which makes it possible to release the mechanism of judgment.
Projection, expectation and judgment are tools of domination, manipulation and control that we use to navigate the world of fear and separation in attempt to get our needs met. Once the presence of love awakens within us we can finally be free of the reliance on these mechanisms, which makes it possible to reunite with our innocence, our breath and the essence of life itself.

Healing is easier than hired hands are allowing you to believe.
May we continue to find new ways to meet the fear, the anger, the angst, the grief and the exhaustion within ourselves and those we meet.
For many we’ve already outgrown the mind-based strategies for managing emotions. We can no longer use the mind to control the emotions, or use the mind to control the body. I celebrate the arrival of love and wisdom onto the scene, to free us from the need for strategies of domination/submission, manipulation and control to “survive”. May we continue to give space and provide the invitation for the wisdom of the heart, the intelligence of the body, clarity of mind and the presence of love to show itself and revel the way forward.
Here is a meditation I recorded a few months ago as a contribution to inviting energetic aliveness and acknowledging and activating intelligence, wisdom and love. You’re welcome to listen in, if you could use some extra energetic support today.
