A lot of reflecting today. So much gratitude.
The ridiculousness of the last 22 months has brought about so much beauty— one being the ability to get together with people that I now consider family.
It’s an honor and a privilege to be able to take the stage and speak, don’t get me wrong, but the most important thing about these events— one that many completely miss— is the healing, joy, love, and beauty that occurs when we gather in a community that is open, loving, accepting, real, authentic, and willing to go deep both internally and externally. There is nothing like it. I’ve said it’s like church, meets a farmers market, meets a music festival, meets a health conference. It’s incredible.

Stanton— you’re an incredible man. I am honored to call you one of my best friends, brothers (and maybe in another reality my commanding officer lolol). Your presence and leadership brings so much beauty and joy to people’s lives. What you’ve created in San Diego inspires so much for others all over the world. You are essential to this movement man— it wouldn’t be the same without your leadership. Thank you for being you.
And for those who attended— I hope, more than anything, you were empowered. I hope you felt loved, validated, and I hope that you took away from that event the importance of turning back to yourself as your primary source of healing, and that you should never outsource to anyone. I hope you were empowered to be the most authentic version of yourself and to never be afraid to share with the world. I hope a fire was lit inside of your soul to live as freely as you can, because that freedom so many have been conditioned to “fight for” is already within you. You already have it, we have already won. Just live it.
Lastly, thank you to the whole Future Generations team who worked behind the scenes to bring this to the world. You’re incredible. I am so grateful for all of you.
