By now I think everyone is familiar with my stance on politics- I think we have an illusion of choice and democracy, our votes don't count, and presidents are selected, not elected.
But is there merit to politics at a local or state level?
All I know is that Reinette Senum is an amazing human being with a big heart for health, health freedom, and sovereignty, and she also happens to be running for Governor of California!

Being aware of certain things at play in this world sometimes takes my breath away. I immediately go into a freeze response, thinking “how am I going to protect the ones I love the most in this life?” I feel so out of control.
Then I remember my power and the deep love I have for them. Power and love is what fuels me to pull myself out of the freeze response and back into my body, finding presence. That’s what will heal humanity.
Being present is more than being aware of what’s at play in this reality. It means showing up and not abandoning yourself when you freeze. Don’t get me wrong, this takes practice. Remain present in the hard emotions, challenge yourself to feel the feelings. Once you can fully show up for yourself, you can fully show up for them.
Being a present parent will create a present child. When we can teach our children to feel feelings, validate themselves, and be here in the now, we will systematically change how future generations operate.
