Lots of this lately:
“Doublespeak is language that deliberately obscures, disguises, distorts, or reverses the meaning of words. Doublespeak may take the form of euphemisms, in which case it is primarily meant to make the truth sound more palatable. It may also refer to intentional ambiguity in language or to actual inversions of meaning.”

Inspired by a conversation with a great friend of mine, Andy.
Andy was telling me a story about a recent experience he had with a couple of friends.
They were sitting on a couch in a hotel room facing a major city skyline. From his perspective on the couch the view was gorgeous. The whole city was lit up. They got up for a bit and accidentally switched positions when they sat down again.
From this new vantage point, the view was equally beautiful but completely different. Unique to the view he had previously, but from the same general experience. A slight shift in perspective changed the whole experience. An experience he wouldn’t have understood had he not taken the time to sit down and look at it from this new perspective.
This simple incident serves as a reminder that every single one of us has completely different experiences, teachings, information impressed upon us, conditioning, trauma, etc..
Remember this before you attack, shame, or mock someone else for their beliefs or perspective, no matter how diametrically opposed to your own. You haven’t seen life from their perspective. You have no idea what’s brought them to see things the way they do.
Speak your perceptions- but have love & compassion, & hold space for others to do the same- no matter how different. Take the time to understand what they’ve experienced, why they think the way they think, and believe what they believe. Encourage them to share their unique perspective. That’s how we learn. That’s powerful.

I want to be very, very clear on something: I have never and will never support/promote Q/Q Anon. I believe Q is a psyop. I don’t believe it to be real. I believe it/that movement whether indirectly or directly, distracts from the point and promotes violence (just as Antifa does too).
You’re welcome to share what you want here, but I don’t believe it/promote it. I believe it is distraction- another example of buying into something outside of yourself in hopes that it will “save” you.
Thanks.
-Alec
