We are being manipulated by the so-called “alternative” media just as much — if not more — than the mainstream media. It’s not on the TVs — it’s on the algorithms. Constant potentials, narratives and scenes that have us feeling outraged, anxious, powerless, divided and hopeless. Pushing us to believe the solution is to expend loads of energy (and *pay* attention to) opposing [insert enemy] or promoting [insert politician]. All the while, we’re being conditioned to forget our connection to God and the innate power we derive from it — the power to co-create our own experience. A power that magnifies and expands as several of us do it together. “Where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

The consequences of us forgetting our innate connection to God and the co-creative capacity we derive from it, and of failing to be mindful of the energetic contract offered by way of this content, is that we are unwittingly offering up that co-creative capacity to bring about more chaos and division.

I’m not saying don’t be aware of what’s going on in the world. I’m not even saying that we shouldn’t, at times, be outraged about the state of things. But how much of our precious attention and co-creative capacity is fueling more of the same? How much are YOU forgetting the power that God has given YOU to completely change your own life? How much more powerful of an impact would we have if we gathered together with likeminded souls to focus our efforts on creating what we’d like to see in the world? How many of us struggle to even begin conceiving of what we actually want to see because we’re spending our attention on what we don’t want?

What if we turned off the perpetual doom-scrolling and chaos and tuned in to our connection with God, and consciously exercised our power to create the world we want? How would remembering and acting upon this connection with God help us to stand firm in our authenticity, sovereignty, setting boundaries with those who wish to silence us and impose upon us? How would it help us to exercise more compassion, forgiveness, and openness? How would embodying all of that help us to affect positive change?

And if this sounds too “woo-woo” for you, I invite you to consider this:

There are millions and millions of people who are “awake,” so to speak, to the problems in the world who are regularly offering their time and attention towards the chaos of the world. And many of those millions and millions have a deep knowing that there is a better way. What if those millions and millions of people simply shut those narratives off, united together, and focused on creating the world we want to see? What would that look like? “Where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” What happens when we regularly commune with others who stop *paying* attention to the chaos, and start paying attention to that innate connection with God?

I’m going to do much better about being mindful of what I’m *paying* attention to and remembering where my true power lies. It is a power that cannot be taken, and a connection that cannot be broken. I hope you will too.

I am not my body. I have a body.
I am so much more than that.
But I am in this body for a reason.
I am on Earth for a purpose.

I am not trying to “transcend” the body.
I am not trying to ascend beyond it, either.

Maybe some were meant to disassociate from their body, meditating in a cave.
But not me.

I am here, to be, here.
I am here to live. I am here to learn.

I am here for love, fear, heartbreak, bliss, anger, joy, sadness, peace.
I am here to experience all of it, fully.

I am here to experience, reflect, alchemize, and create in reverence to God.

I am here to forget and then remember.

I am, here.
