JUST IN - Germany's domestic intel service is now "monitoring" its former head Hans-Georg Maaßen, who is currently founding a new political party, as a "right-wing extremist," according to local media reports.
Maaßen says "the federal government is obviously afraid of me and the WerteUnion, so it has me observed and persecuted by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution."
