NEW - Texas church shooter identified as transgender Jeffrey Escalante, born as Genessa Ivonne Moreno, who is an immigrant from El Salvador. "Free Palestine" was written on the rifle.

Moreno walked into a popular Texas megachurch Sunday afternoon with a long gun and opened fire. The gunfire left a child in critical condition and another man injured, officials said. Law enforcement officers neutralized Moreno on the scene.
