According to the military, dozens of Israeli Air Force aircraft, including fighter jets, refuelers, and spy planes, participated in the strikes some 1,600 kilometers from Israel. The aircraft safely returned to Israel following the “complex” operation.

The strikes were carried out in several waves over the course of several hours, in various areas of Iran.

And that’s officially a wrap.

The IDF says it has completed its overnight airstrikes against Iranian military sites in response to Iran’s attacks on Israel in recent months, including the 200 ballistic missiles on October 1.

The name of the operation is dubbed by the military “Days of Repentance.”

The IDF says the strikes targeted Iranian military sites, including air defense batteries and missile manufacturing sites — those used in attacks on Israel on October 1 and April 14.

Additionally, the military says the strikes have given the IAF “wider freedom of aerial action in Iran,” and it has a wide bank of targets that can be struck in future operations, if required.

Just like i said earlier, they left Iran wide open & naked to a larger, more vicious attack anytime Israel wants.

In other words, Iran is now essentially defenseless against coordinated large scale air attacks.

The damage caused by the strike will be revealed in time, the IDF says, adding that Iran has paid a price for its attacks on Israel.

The IDF is holding an assessment now on a potential Iranian response to the attack, but as of now there are no changes to guidelines for civilians.

Iran has a choice to make now: strike Israel again & try to save face, & risk provoking another more severe attack from Israel, or lick its wounds & decide to de-escalate & survive.

Some of tonight’s targets were the secret police force the Iranian regime uses to suppress the population of Iran & protect the dictatorship/regime. If Iran attacks Israel again, they risk Israel doing much more damage to the repression agencies & the regime leadership itself.

It will be interesting to see if Israel went after any really senior Iranian leadership. It seems unlikely they did that tonight. They did however leave them defenseless. Khameini is now wide open to ending like Nasrallah did.

We’ll see what happens now.

The SAM radars are the key. The SAMs are worthless without search & fire control radars. Israel used kinetic means (actual ordnance) to hard kill some. Others that had a marginal chance of detecting incoming Israeli missiles could have simply been jammed: radars flooded with electronic noise to make them unusable. Others still could be hacked & manipulated.

Like I said earlier, the current generation of Iranian fighters is simply not capable of detecting, thekind of incoming strikes the Israel’s launch tonight. The Israeli fighter jet that launched these missiles into Iran, would’ve launched them from standoff range far outside the radar detection capabilities of Iranian fighters. Israeli fighter bombers don’t need to penetrate Iranian airspace for this kind of strike, to hit these kinds of targets. They can launch their air-to-ground missiles from well outside of Iranian airspace making Iranian fighters a mute point.

This directly talks about use of the F-35 stealth fighter, & stealth cruise missiles by Israel. They have both & both were likely used together to attack the more dangerous SAM sites. Even if the F-35’s had approached Iranian airspace, the fighters Iran has don’t have the ability to detect much less engage those planes or cruise missiles.

If Israel has to carry out another round of strikes, Iran will not simply wake up to a shattered air defense network & the loss of drone & ballistic missiles. The Israelis will put other more important targets in the crosshairs.
