This directly talks about use of the F-35 stealth fighter, & stealth cruise missiles by Israel. They have both & both were likely used together to attack the more dangerous SAM sites. Even if the F-35’s had approached Iranian airspace, the fighters Iran has don’t have the ability to detect much less engage those planes or cruise missiles.

If Israel has to carry out another round of strikes, Iran will not simply wake up to a shattered air defense network & the loss of drone & ballistic missiles. The Israelis will put other more important targets in the crosshairs.

There is very likely a political explanation for why Israel chose to limit its target set for this evening’s strikes. After November 5th, there won’t be any political road blocks restraining Israel target selection.
