One thing that really leaped out at me from Donald Trump’s interview with Joe Rogan was relating the story of flying in & talking to the actual operators, the Special Forces pipe hitters, fighting ISIS.

He asked the field grade officers— the Captains & Majors, & Senior Enlisteds (Sgt Majors) why they hadn’t defeated ISIS & what could they do differently/what else did they need.

Listening to DJT relate the stories of how the actual war fighters in theater told him how pentagon staff & flag officers were responsible for poor policy that held the operators in country back from completing the mission was a shock.

On a high level we all knew it; but that story was the slam dunk open shut conviction of leadership.

The fact Donald Trump picked Mike Waltz & Pete Hegseth as NSA & SECDEF means he learned from that lesson.

The US Military is going to undergo a radical transformation in the next two years into a far more effective US Policy instrument America’s enemies will truly fear.

Pete Hegseth reminds me of Dick Winters.

This is the meeting where Joe begs Donald to pardon Hunter or commute his sentence.
