Chuck Grassley rightly just EXCORIATED the Biden Regime’s flagrant abuses of the Department of Justice. Senator Durbin will claim that Trump will weaponized the DOJ, but this is all projection. The Democrats have brought disgrace on the DOJ. Pam Bondi will restore true justice to the top law enforcement office in the country, and yes, hold those accountable who abused the department.

Chuck Grassley is using the Pam Bondi confirmation hearing as a Festivus, an airing of grievances, against the Biden Regime's incessant obstruction of Congress's constitutional oversight duty.
You can tell he's been waiting for this moment for four years. He's earned every minute of it.

Pam Bondi on fighting human trafficking:
"Human trafficking became a top priority for me as attorney general. I had the opportunity on a bipartisan trip to go to Mexico, and the one thing I found out there, they were doing better than we were. They had safe houses. I saw things I never dreamed I would see. And all of these things in my past have formed the person I am right now, sitting here before you.
I came back to Florida. We started a human trafficking council, and we partnered with others, and we expanded and added safe houses in the state of Florida. I don't know how many are in this country right now, but I would like to partner with both sides, if confirmed, to continue those efforts."

MARCO RUBIO: Under President Trump, the top priority of the United States Department of State will be the United States. The direction he has given for the conduct of our foreign policy is clear. Every dollar we spend, every program we fund, every policy we pursue, must be justified by the answer to one of three questions:
1. Does it make America safer?
2. Does it make America stronger?
3. Does it make America more prosperous?
Amen.

Marco Rubio's answer on Ukraine is pitch perfect. First, he makes clear that America's border security MUST come first, before any funding goes to far-off battlefields. Second, he affirms President Trump's demand that the "killing must stop" and calls for an end to the war and an immediate ceasefire. Third, he's honest: He acknowledges that funding another war "as long as it takes" is not realistic, and any end to the war must be a negotiated compromise. Otherwise, Ukraine will be destroyed from the loss of every last young man in the country.
This is the way. End the war.

Incredible back and forth between Mazie Hirono and Pam Bondi...
HIRONO: "[Trump] has also said illegal immigration is poisoning the blood of our nation. Do you agree?"
BONDI: "I went to the border a few months ago. I went to Yuma, AZ. I went to a rape crisis center. It was horrific. I'm sure you've been to the border as well, so you can answer that."
HIRONO: I want to get to the next question...

It is a hostage deal, NOT an end of war deal. Phase I allows for the release of 33 hostages; it is not clear how many are alive, but some reports suggest 23.
Israel is going to be shocked to find out who among the 33 is not alive.
Tough days are ahead.
Lord please help us all!
