In the four days following Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene's resignation announcement, ten Republican candidates have entered the race for Georgia's 14th Congressional District special election. Of these, three had already declared prior to her resignation, with seven more stepping forward since.
The Republican field includes:
- Joseph Bergeman
- Star Black
- James M. “Marty” Brown
- Elvis Casely
- Jeff Criswell
- Christian Hurd
- Nicholas Lama
- Colton Moore
- Jim Tully
- Jenna Turnipseed
The candidate pool is expected to expand further. Additionally, one Democrat and one Independent have joined the contest.
