Why did Hitler think that he could invade the Soviet Union & fight the allies on the western front even as they were losing in the Atlantic & Britain was becoming the largest aircraft carrier in history & staging point for an invasion Army that Germany didn’t have the manpower to repel? Because Gen’s Keitel & Jodl, & SS Reich’s fuhrer Himmler told him the Soviets were weak, had no generals worth anything after Stalins purges, had inferior equipment, & would be defeated before winter fell.

When you view Iranian Regime boasts & threats through that historical lens, you begin to more clearly understand why they say the most insane, unrealistic things.
