Comey’s entire legal strategy is to claim ignorance/incompetence to avoid culpability. That dog doesn’t hunt. There’s documents that prove his knowledge & culpability out there. He’s using the strategy here to avoid giving Durham more to work with. He’s been coached by a good lawyer. But he’s committed perjury several times already. Criminal referrals for perjury likely from R’s on committee, i think.
