My first concert ever was during the Van Halen ‘1984’ tour. I was 6, sitting on my father’s shoulders watching one of the greatest rock bands ever to walk on stage during one of the greatest tours ever.
I went on to see Van Halen live in concert during the ‘5150’ tour, the ‘For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge’ tour, & the ‘Balance’ tour.
Eddie Van Halen was an icon. Much of my childhood was set to music he helped create. Van Halen a part of America & our culture.
He will be deeply missed. My ❤️ goes out to his family & close friends. We lost a legend today.
