Stu, i think as we’ve both documented over a period of time the US Military is well advanced down this road already. Its dangerous: the lion’s share of the officer corps are no longer loyal to the Constitution & are loyal only to communist ideology: six recent examples that bear this out are:

1. Former CINC SOCOM Gen McChrystal helping rig an election against an anti war anti chicom president.

2. Former CINC SOCOM
Adm McRaven openly publishing an op-ed in the New York Times calling for a military coup against a sitting US President at the time.

3. Col Alexander Vindman actively committing Sedition against a US President, his lawful Commander In Chief w no punishment from the chain of command or Pentagon.

4. US West Point Grad and openly communist Spencer Rapone & the way that situation was handled.

5. The woke persecution of Sr Chief Eddie Gallagher by Navy Special Warfare Command.

6. The persecution of US Army Green Beret Sergeant Charles Martland for preventing the rape of a child while in Afghanistan. Yes, the US Military court martialed a Green Beret for preventing a child from being raped.

The US Military has a serious problem resulting from administrations like the Clinton, Obama & now the Biden administration flooding the ranks of the enlisted as well as the officer corps with communists, subversives & deviants.

Why was the US Military willing to deploy troops to oppose people angry their vote had been stole but not willing to deploy and stop Leftwing domestic terrorists burning cities & threatening the commander in chief?

You know the reason why: the US Military & its leadership is in the midst of a power struggle: those who protect America & the Constitution vs those who want to turn the US Military into a weapon against the American people to usher in communism & federal government control of all Americans.

BOTTOM LINE: the US Military *cannot* be relied upon to protect the US Constitution, or to side with We The People against a Tyrannical, Abusive government that turns on We The People.

This is not real: this is an excuse to protect those who are about to gut the Second Amendment. The vote is coming in two house bills that will essentially end the right to keep and bear arms. Thats why they are heightening security. I do not believe there is a real threat. Its a manufactured pretext to stop any interruption of the house votes.
