In theory, that’s how its supposed to work- but in practice, at BEST the FBI is operating as MI-5 does and in reality (spygate & Flynn abuses) its clear the FBI has metastasized into the KGB.
All thats missing is the beatings & summary executions. Given the re-labeling of 85 million Americans as domestic terrorists b/c they don’t share the FBI & DOJ favored political party & extremist views gives suspicion that sooner or later the FBI will go FULL KGB.

Indeed, especially with Eric Swalwell who’s been compromised by Chinese Intelligence still sitting on that very committee. It makes things clear when you consider that...this is a politically motivated attempt to remove an effective political opponent.
