Try to put yourself in Hecker's shoes. Early last year, after Trump mentioned HCQ as possibly being effective in preventing catching COVID, and curing the infection in the early stages, your station sends you out to do an investigative report. You talk to medical doctors and other viral experts. You learn the truth about HCQ and you put it in your report. BUT this runs counter to the narrative the station wants to run. So you get called in on the carpet and chewed out and are told you have failed as a reporter for doing your job and reporting the facts. How would THAT make you feel?
