You know how everyone wants to thank police and military (of course, the ones upholding the Constitution)?
Likewise, we must also support folks on the front lines of freedom. That means encouraging these pilots and air crew members, and potentially federal agency members, truckers, etc.
I make no secret about the fact that I was terrible at the game I love, baseball. I just wasn't any good, despite my size.
One time, my dad bought a tutorial series covering each position, instructed by a star of the 1980s. The pitching lesson was taught by Hall of Famer Don Sutton, who just recently died.
Sutton won over 300 games and had a long career, in which he was good all the way to the end. In that video, which I remember like yesterday, he said "take your time - step off the rubber - pitch when ready, because the game cannot be played without you." Pitchers control the tempo of the game.
Pilots are needed to fly planes, crew members to provide in-air operational support, and maintainers to keep planes from crashing. Truckers are needed to keep America running. Police and agencies are needed to maintain order.
We are finding ourselves in interesting times, indeed. You can encourage or discourage - it only takes a spark to start a flame.
