What you need to know now about the United States is that because it’s a constitutional republic, these 26 Republican States are in fact their own separate nations the federal government can’t impose laws upon—laws that are separate from constitutional obligations the States and federal government both abide by—is why the federal government bribes the States to accept laws with lavish handouts, such as with healthcare funding, but many Republican States refuse to accept—are States that have their military forces called the National Guard, which in some cases can be federalized, but if a President can do so over the objection of a Governor has never been fully answered—but most critically to know are Republican States having State Defense Force capabilities wholly separate from the federal government, like the Tennessee State Guard and Texas State Guard—and if they so choose, these Republican States can fully activate and man these State Defense Forces without the federal government being able to do anything to stop them.
