The Wisconsin Senate is launching its own investigation of the state's 2020 election, citing the findings of the audit just completed by the Legislative Audit Bureau.
Republican Senate leaders especially targeted the City of Madison when announcing their investigation, saying the city’s election officials refused to provide documents and ballots that the Legislative Audit Bureau had requested.
(The Senate investigation is separate from the state Assembly’s investigation, led by special council and former state Supreme Court Justice Michael Gableman.)
