Why did the DOJ charge only Bannon?

Mark Meadows, Kash Patel, and Dan Scavino we're all members of the Trump Administration. As such, their testimony could be covered under executive privilege which is still being litigated. Bannon was not in the administration and has less of a reason not to cooperate.

The appeals court has upheld the injunction on the OSHA mandate in a scathing opinion I’ve seen snippets of but can’t find the case on - lost in my pile of links. If anyone can link to it, because legitimately no media organizations provide their readers with source docs (I never understand this) please share?

Former Trump advisor Steve Bannon indicted on 2 counts by a federal grand jury for refusing to comply with House Jan 6th Committee
Things to know:
- The counts are both criminal misdemeanor (2 U.S. Code § 192 - Refusal of witness to testify or produce papers)
- Charges are in the DC District, but Bannon should have the opportunity to contest responding the contempt charges in local US District Court; most likely the Southern District of Florida (SDFL)
- These types of Contempt of Congress charges are usually brought as civil cases if brought at all, not criminal. This represents an egregious escalation and further weaponization of the Dept. of Justice to target political opponents.
- The House Select Committee only has the power to subpoena information pertinent to drafting new legislation. The Jan 6th is not an Investigative Commission. That proposal was rejected by Republicans back in May.
- Bannon is exerting Executive Privilege. The privilege belongs to President Trump and is his alone to waive. It doesn't matter that Bannon was a private citizen. The President has the right to seek counsel from individuals outside of government without the contents of those discussions having to be disclosed to the other branches of government. This is a Separation of Powers issue.
- The privilege does not transfer from Trump to Biden simply when Trump leaves office anymore than hiring somebody's attorney as your own after the fact transfers their Attorney-Client Privilege to you.
Prediction: This will bounce around in a lower court for a year or more, and ultimately be dismissed. The SCOTUS might decide however to take up the case in order to clarify matters of Executive Privilege in the future.

Subsequently, I was de-platformed by Twitter for telling the truth.
I have always believed that a person's greatest contribution to society occurs at the intersection of what they are most passionate about, what they are uniquely skilled at, and what the world most desperately needs. Therefore, despite being silenced, I restarted from zero, and I rebuilt my following on the free speech platforms of; telegram, rumble, and gab, where I now have over three hundred thousand followers, and I am quickly approaching, another half a billion online impressions.
Throughout the last year, between all of the hours of researching, writing, editing, assembling, and producing, I realized how deeply passionate I am about this work. I spent an entire year doing this work for free, yet somehow, it has been the most rewarding year of my life.
I also now realize more than ever how desperately our nation needs tech-savvy citizens to stand up and fight against the corporate media and big tech monopoly on information. My plan is to continue to create the hard-hitting, original content and analysis that you have come to expect from my channel, but also to branch out into more investigative journalism and high production value videos, with the long-term goal of producing my own show, and developing my own podcast.
