If cameras are good enough for police officers, then shouldn’t the same logic be applied to teachers?

I am seeing there is another event in SC at the Statehouse on 12/1 pushing for this bill. I copied the below (with details of the event) from a comment in my chat.

If this is voted on and approved, it dismantles the lawsuit for healthcare workers that SC is currently a part of, awaiting a judges motion on injunction.

I am all for as many rallies, events etc to get our legislators to do the right thing. I don’t think this is the right bill to be pushing.

From the bill- section 2:
SECTION    2.    Notwithstanding the provisions contained in SECTION 1, an employee or contractor working for an entity who is treating or caring for vulnerable populations may be required by that entity to undergo vaccination to prevent COVID-19. For the purposes of this SECTION, "vulnerable populations" includes a person over the age of sixty, or a person with an underlying medical condition identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as having a higher risk of complications related to COVID-19.

Very clear from comments in my DeSantis post from yesterday that biggest frustration with DeSantis is over lack of election action.

In my opinion, as seen in Texas, one of the biggest obstacles for auditing a Trump-won (as certified) state is just that - that Trump took the electoral votes. In Florida, he won by a large margin for a Republican, over 370k votes and by a bigger margin than last election. Only thing is, looks like it should have been at least a 6.6% win.

It then become a battle of political capital and prioritization.

Do not misread - FL should undertake audits in all of the counties listed in my top 100 counties for audits within the state. I will forward immediately below.
