In 2020, the ‘powers that be’ argued that the government was accurate in its reporting of COVID deaths. Then when we reported that only 6% of all COVID deaths had no co-morbidities and COVID was the only cause the ‘powers that be’ freaked out.

I was convinced that viruses simply cannot “do waves”, certainly not of greater magnitude than the wave of deaths which occurred when the agent first swept through a population.
There’s no immunological mechanism for second waves to be larger. Note that nothing we did made any difference anywhere to the natural course of infection moving through a population.
At the time, I wasn’t aware of the large scale interventions with midazolam in U.K. hospitals.
In the autumn, I’d stated that I anticipated a “secondary ripple” of deaths as the last corners of the nation were finally reached, given the spring climate probably played a role in terminating the outbreak slightly earlier than would probably have happened if the event had begun earlier in the season.
Observe the deaths vs time plot. You can see that secondary ripple.
It’s almost lost under the huge wave of deaths arising from vaccination.

Results showed infection rates for vaccinated individuals were 500%+ higher than those with naturally acquired immunity at similar time intervals.
Vaccination after natural infection only offered a 1-2% reduction in infection rate.
