🚨🚨BREAKING: General flynn files in court to stop Jan 6 committee subpoena.

The 1/6 Committee violated it's own charter legislation. This isn't a secret to anybody who studied how this unfolded from the beginning. Flynn has an extremely strong argument here that literally everything this 1/6 Committee has done carries no legal force because the committee wasn't even established according to it's own stated rules. This applies especially to subpoenas issued by the committee. They have no real legal force.

There's no getting around this. The congressional rules and committee charter clearly state how such a committee is to be formed and how members to the committee are to be appointed. Pelosi and Thompson repeatedly violated these rules to launch the 1/6 Committee and get it up in a hurry and get their document fishing expedition going.

Not only did Pelosi and Thompson not follow the clearly stated rules for forming the 1/6 Committee, they also blatantly violated the clearly stated rules for how the committee issues a legally enforceable subpoena or orders a witness to appear for a deposition. As the Committee chair, Thompson is required by the rules to consult with the ranking minority member of the committee before ordering subpoenas to be issued or depositions from witnesses to be taken. But....SURPRISE!...the 1/6 Committee has no ranking minority member. Pelosi and Thompson ignored the 5 Republicans McCarthy submitted for Committee membership, appointed anti-Trump hater RINOs Liz Cheney & Adam Kinzinger instead, and then didn't make either of them the ranking minority member.

The U.S. Congress or any committee formed within it is not a law enforcement body or agency, and they do not have the investigative powers of law enforcement bodies or agencies. To state they are on a fishing expedition looking for evidence they can then turn over to the DOJ or FBI to prosecute people they suspect of inciting or guiding or ordering the 'insurrection' of 1/6/21 is to reveal they are acting outside of their legal authority as the legislative branch.

Yeah, pretty much. Pelosi created this Frankenstein committee to pretend to be a law enforcement body out to do it's own illegal law enforcement investigation by desperately fishing for documents it can use against political opponents.

He cant help but tell you their ultimate goal of the J6 committee. And it isnt just taking out the Freedom Caucus.
