You know what I like best about Joe Biden?

He never fails to live down to every single negative comment & stereotype about him.

I'm weary, as most Americans are, of endless wars that enrich the Military Industrial Complex and politicians, for whom war is a spectator sport, but not a risk to actual life and limb as it is for the troops they put in harms way.

I think if a politician wants to wage war on another country, fine; sometimes there's no choice. But be prepared to send your own family members to the front line FIRST.

Lead by example, from the front, risking your own blood and treasure, rather than the Obama style "lead from behind".

And Upton Makes Four

Rep. Fred Upton, one of 10 House Republicans who voted to impeach President Donald Trump in January 2021, has decided to retire rather than seek reelection in 2022, Politico reported.

Upton is the fourth of those 10 to retire, joining Reps. Anthony Gonzalez (R-Ohio), John Katko (R-N.Y.) and Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) in exiting Congress. The six remaining never-Trumpers have primary challengers:

• Valadao is being challenged in CA by Chris Mathys

• Meijer is being challenged in MI by Tom Norton and Trump-endorsed John Gibbs

• Cheney is being challenged in WY by Harriet Hageman

• Tom Rice is being challenged in SC by Ken Richardson

• Herrera-Beutler is being challenged in WA by Joe Kent

• Newhouse is being challenged in WA by Loren Culp and Jerrod Sessler

Judge Middlebrooks is the JUDGE on the Trump case. Yesterday they filed a motion asking for recusal for the JUDGE - not the magistrate. The JUDGE said, no thanks - just because I was appointed 25 years ago by Clinton means nothing. I do my job impartially, how dare you. Not a great start IMO.
