One comment I’ll add to Stu thread: as CINC USSOCOM, McRaven’s ‘leadership’ & direct orders were responsible for increased battlefield casualties, loss of a great number of of SOF Soldiers’ lives including #extortion17 & aided the enemy. McRaven literally cared more about bad press & the Enemy’s safety than he did/does for American Special Ops soldiers. He was PERSONALLY responsible for Rules of Engagement changes that forced SOF Operators to call out a verbal warning & give a chance to surrender to Taliban & Al Qaeda forces before SOF on site could carry out a raid.
