Like I said. This situation is McCarthy's worse nightmare.
According to Baris, he has been counting votes and not seats during the primaries.
Last week was not a good week for him
He has lukewarm support from the current caucus as evidenced from many of the interviews they have done over the past few months.
They know why they are being sent there. Kevin said he would fight some things to get their support.
They seemed to be willing to give him the benefit of the doubt based on current conversations.
That changed tonight.
Biden releases a MOAB in the war on the GOP.
It is put up or shut up time for Kevin. Is he willing to go to the mattresses?
My understanding is that he is an old school go along to get along GOPe
That is no longer possible.
Lines have been drawn.
We shall see what happens next.

One rumor/report is that Trump possessed classified documents. Which is odd, b/c as President he could literally declassify anything at will.
