I waited in line this morning for over 50 minutes! Some people were grousing about the line, but I reminded them that this is what democracy looks like!

I went in to vote at 11am today at my local precint in Eastern Iowa. Every single person working was new. Some of them still getting the hang of it. The supervisor on site was someone I recognized as a Scott County Republican volunteer. I was 311th to vote. The machine successfully read my ballot & said 311th of 3658 projected.

Saw some obvious Democrats but i dont get the feeling there were a lot of dems there today. There wasn’t a line yet. Will check back later tonight. I got right in & voted. They have double the number of voting booths as usual. Interesting.
