As a lifelong midwesterner, during the winter i keep a Navy Seabag in my car with extra gloves, socks, a trauma first aid kit, a marmot sleeping bag rated to -30*F, a liner that adds another 20* of protection, some freeze dried meals, & tools for melting snow to make water, & cooking tools. Everything i need to survive it i get stranded & injured in a storm. The reality is, out here in the plains states with huge distances between population centers, you have to understand help in winter storm conditions may be DAYS away. YOU are your own first responder. Could you survive what Mike Glover highlights here?
