Washington D.C. - This week has been host to several substantial information operation efforts. 50 US Senators have been issued satellite phones for emergency communication as part of new security procedures. These satphones are to be used in the event of a communications disruption. This comes on the exact same day that the FDA begins large ad campaign to "combat misinformation on the internet". This ad campaign used the example of "the internet going out" as an example of "misinformation". This in turn comes on the heels of FBI whistleblowers testifying before Congress about the "weaponization of the FBI against the American people". AC: It is unknown if these actions are related to any specific threat, or if this is more of a narrative of fear being pushed. There are many issues with the logic of all of these events, complicating analytical efforts (and therefore being a strong indicator of 5GW taking place). However, the overall theme is that information control is a high priority for the Biden regime, and will continue to be a concern for the average citizen for the foreseeable future.
Washington D.C Cont'd - Man rams Uhaul truck into White House barrier IVO Lafayette Square. The cargo space of the vehicle was empty. The suspect has been identified as Sai Varshith Kandula. AC: Behavior of first responders was quite strange as normal evidence handling procedures were not adhered to. A N@zi flag (censored for widest dissemination on anti-1A platforms) was recovered from the cab of the vehicle, and officers neatly spread the flag out on the ground (about 15 feet from the vehicle) in full view of (and deliberately facing) the cameras that were recording the entire incident. Once the media took their photos, the flag was removed and processed as evidence. Note: LE obviously take photos for evidence, however the way this was done is highly suspect. Minimal damage was caused, no one was harmed, the target was obviously very strongly fortified, the attack was conducted at very low speeds, and almost nothing was in the suspects possession apart from the flag which was paraded in front of journalists, who just so happened to be at a nondenoscript location IVO the White House at the exact right time (around 10pm) to capture the entire attack.
Border Crisis: Situation at the southern border continues to by extremely dynamic. AC: Atmospherics on the ground indicate growing resentment towards military and border patrol forces, who many locals accuse of not doing enough to prevent border crossings. Of course, the situation is more complex than this (and it is unclear as to how true this is) but tense attitudes remain nonetheless.

Information operations and the control of information continue to challenge average citizens' daily communication efforts. The ignorance of these threats by a majority of the population is exacerbated by political ideology as many people refuse to allow any opinion that differs from pre-approved narratives. Despite the real threats directly and openly posed by powerful actors; even these reports are met with extreme hostility many times. This presents challenges for those who have not taken measures to create resilient communications methods in the event of traditional comms networks are intentionally severed.
