Effective March 14, 2025, Binance will delist the THE/BNB trading pair from its spot trading platform. This action is the result of an automated review process, which identified insufficient trading volume and inadequate market-making activity for the aforementioned pair.

It is important to note that trading of the $THE token will remain available on Binance through other trading pairs, with particular emphasis on the USDT and FDUSD pairings, which will continue to be supported.

Important Update Regarding $THE Token Bridging Services Between opBNB and BNB Chain

Dear Thenians,

We wish to inform you of an impending change concerning the cross-chain bridging service for the $THE token between the opBNB and BNB Chain networks.

Our current bridge provider, Polyhedra, has notified us of their decision to cease their cross-chain bridge operations imminently. This cessation will directly impact the current bridging solution for $THE tokens between opBNB and BNB Chain.

Furthermore, significant network upgrades, specifically hard forks on both opBNB and BNB Chain, are scheduled to occur before the end of this month (April 2025). Polyhedra has indicated they will not be updating their platform to support these protocol changes.

Consequently, the existing $THE bridge, accessible via https://thena.zkbridge.com/bridge, will cease to function following the opBNB hard fork, which is scheduled for April 21st, 2025, at 3:00 AM UTC.

⚠️ Action Required: Users who anticipate needing to transfer $THE tokens between opBNB and BNB Chain (in either direction) before the deployment of our new solution should utilize the current bridge (https://thena.zkbridge.com/bridge) prior to the April 21st, 3:00 AM UTC deadline.

⚒️ Future Solution: We have successfully developed proprietary smart contracts to facilitate future $THE token transfers between these chains. The development of the associated user interface (UI) is currently underway and is estimated to be completed by the end of April 2025. Users who do not bridge their tokens before the deadline will be able to use this new, in-house solution once it becomes available. Your assets remain secure during this transition period.

Quick heads-up for voters: To make sure your vote goes through smoothly and you don't miss out on any rewards, please try to get your vote in at least 30 minutes before the epoch flip today. Better safe than sorry!

While that's happening, we'll also be busy sprucing up our infrastructure in the background. The shiny new UI will be live and ready for you to explore starting from the next epoch.

For our Liquidity Providers: You'll have until the end of the next epoch (that's May 29th) to move your positions over. We actually suggest you aim to do this towards the end of that next epoch (so, next week) – no need to rush it today!

V3,3 is finally here, and while there were some hiccups, the migration went smoothly. Everything is functioning as intended on the smart contract side, allowing us to now focus on what’s next. ➡️

We’ve been working throughout the weekend to iron out the bugs found on the user interface side of things. If you spot anything out of the ordinary, let us know, and we’ll fix it. ⚙️

While some 3rd party providers have already integrated us, we’re still waiting for aggregators like 1inch, where a large part of our V2 volume came from.

As a result, the fees earned this week are lower than they would otherwise be. There’s liquidity in V2 that’s still generating revenue, and we’re adding those as voting incentives to V3,3 as the Epoch progresses. 💰

The good news is that some pools have already exceeded the TVL levels seen in V2. We’re working across the board to ensure volume and liquidity continue to grow.

BNB/THE Weighted Pool Withdrawal Activation

We are pleased to announce the imminent deployment of a solution enabling users to withdraw their deposit amounts from the BNB/THE Weighted Pool.

A comprehensive post-mortem detailing the technical specifics of the issue will be provided in due course. In brief, an internal accounting error within the pool balance mechanism was identified, which, in some instances, resulted in users receiving a greater balance than their initial deposit.

This forthcoming release will facilitate the withdrawal of original deposits and the claiming of accrued $THE rewards. However, please be advised that any wallet identified as having exploited the aforementioned bug to illicitly obtain funds exceeding their deposited amount will be ineligible for deposit retrieval. Also note that My Value column might show an incorrect number for your deposit while you will be able to receive the correct amount when you press the Withdraw button.

Weighted Pool creation will be on pause until we redeploy the contracts with the fix.
