Request what are the odds of rolling a winning number in this situation?
I'm playing a board game wherein I need to roll a 1 on a six-sided die. However, if I roll a 6 I will get another roll (every time I roll a six this will continue). With each 6 comes another chance to roll a 1 or 6. What does that make my odds of rolling a winning number during this turn?

How far did Gandalf/the balrog fall in Two Towers? Request
Cooped up with an injury and can't do much other than watch tv. Rewatching LotR and that fall seems.... excessive. Exactly how big a fall was that?

Request How would you calculate the economic value of one point of IQ?
So I am thinking of a scenario where a pharma company sells a pill that will permanently increase your IQ with one point. Now how would you allocate an economic value to this benefit? As in how much would someone be willing to pay? Disclaimer: I know IQ is not a great metric for overall intelligence so if you want to amend the hypthetical scenario be my guest.

Request What are the odds of 7 items randomly coming up in order?
This weekend I was part of a team that moved (among many other things) 7 Dell servers from one building to another.
Ideally, someone would have labeled the servers before they were removed so they could be re-racked in the right order. Unfortunately a miscommunication happened.
The 7 servers were placed on carts, rolled out to the parking lot and randomly placed in one of 4 vehicles being used for the move. The 4 vehicles left and went to the new building by varying routes and speeds. Upon arrival the equipment was loaded onto new carts and moved inside and placed on the floor, again, randomly. The focus was on speed and efficiency, not the order.
Only then did someone mention that the order mattered. Without any kind of label we figured we’d just rack them all, turn them on, label them, then shut them down and move them. A pain, but whatever.
When we turned them on we were all amazed that they were in order.
In my mind this would be equivalent to having the Ace through 7 of clubs, shuffling them, then dealing them back out in that exact order.
